Dan Bair’s expertise is primarily in the field of Employment and Labor law. His broad experience includes practice before state and federal courts, in addition to a number of administrative agencies, including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Massachusetts Civil Service Commission, the Department of Industrial Accidents, the Massachusetts Labor Relations Commission, the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance, and the Social Security Administration.
Additionally, Dan has extensive collective bargaining experience, having represented management in negotiating collective bargaining agreements and conducting mediations and arbitrations in both the public and private sector. Prior to joining Brodeur-McGan, P.C., Dan was an associate at the law firm of Sheridan & Sheridan, LLP, in South Hadley. He also completed a year-long internship at the United States Bankruptcy Court in Worcester with the Honorable Joel B. Rosenthal.
Dan has deep-rooted ties to Western Massachusetts, having grown up in Pittsfield, in Berkshire County . He currently resides near Boston and will be heading up Brodeur-McGan, P.C.’s eastern office in the future.
Dan holds bachelor’s degrees in history and business administration (accounting) from The Citadel and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, respectively. He is a 2002 graduate of Western New England College School of Law. Dan was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2002 and to United States District Court in 2003.
